Ontological Depth. Organizational Complexity. For Leaders Who Have Done the Fundamentals.

Coaching Skills for Leaders – Advanced

Programme details

Duration
2 days (in-house delivery)
Group size
9–15 participants
Prerequisites
Completion of Fundamentals (or equivalent ICF-aligned training)
Methodology
Integral Coaching™ + Ontological coaching + Three-Domain Framework + ICF Core Competencies

The fundamentals gave your leaders skills — listening, questioning, presence. This program gives them depth. Not just understanding what people do, but why — and how a leader's own way of being shapes every interaction they have.

Over two days, participants move beyond coaching techniques into ontological coaching — how identity, beliefs, and emotional patterns shape leadership behaviors that everyone around the leader can see but the leader cannot. They also learn to coach through organizational complexity: politics, cross-functional tensions, situations where multiple interests collide and there is no clean answer.

The problems leaders bring here are not technical bottlenecks — they are motivational and relational. This program develops the capacity to see that difference and act on it.

Built on the same Integral methodology that grounds our ICF-accredited coaching training — adapted for leaders who want organizational impact, not a coaching credential. Delivered by ICF-credentialed coaches (MCC, PCC, ACC) with professional business backgrounds who have sat inside these exact complexities — in real organizations, not case studies.

What You Will Develop

  • Day 1: Ontological Depth

How identity, beliefs, and emotional patterns shape leadership behavior. Transactional Analysis (Parent-Adult-Child ego states) as a lens for why you respond the way you do under pressure — and how to shift. Advanced ICF competencies applied to the Three-Domain Framework. Ethical frameworks for coaching in organizational settings where you have authority and interest in outcomes. Deep practice with the MS (Managing Self) domain.

  • Day 2: Organizational Complexity

Coaching through politics, cross-functional tensions, and competing organizational interests. MO and MB domains in complex environments. Practice with detailed feedback from experienced coaches. Personal development plan with AI Coach System integration for sustained growth.

For HR/L&D Leaders

The natural next step after Fundamentals. For organizations building a genuine coaching culture, this program develops the depth that makes coaching sustainable — not a technique that fades after 90 days. Pairs with 1:1 Leadership Coaching, our full Coaching Training program (Level 1), and AI Coach System for ongoing practice.

Who This Is For

Senior managers and experienced leaders who have completed a coaching skills program and want genuine depth — not just better 1:1 techniques. Particularly suited to leaders who manage other managers or operate in politically complex organizations.
